What booking-ready means
Plenty of salon websites look good and still lose bookings. The Book button sits in a menu, the service list is a PDF, or the page takes long enough to load that people give up and call. A booking-ready site is planned the other way around. We start from the path a client takes to an appointment and design every page so that path stays short.
- A Book button in the header and at the bottom of every page, so it's in reach on a phone
- A service menu written for small screens, with durations and a short line on what each service includes
- Links that open the right service in your booking tool where the tool supports it
- Hours, address, parking and transit notes near the top of the contact page
- Your cancellation, late arrival and deposit policies in plain words, before people book
- Gift card and new-client pages if you offer them
Typical pages
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Home | Says what you do and where, shows your space, and puts booking first |
| Service menu | Lists services by category with durations, notes and a Book link for each group |
| Team | Optional; a short profile for each stylist or therapist who takes bookings |
| First visit | What to expect, how to prepare, and any intake or consultation forms |
| Gift cards | Links to your gift card sales, with a note on how they're redeemed |
| Contact and location | Hours, map, parking, accessibility notes and a contact form |
Working with your booking tool
We connect the site to the booking system you use now, so nobody has to switch. Most salon and spa booking apps offer a booking link, an embeddable widget, or both. Before we design, we check what yours supports, such as linking straight to a service category or a single staff member, and plan the pages around that. Deposits, reminders and client accounts stay inside your booking tool.
Speed and phones
Beauty businesses run on photos, and photos are what slow most of these sites down. We size and compress every image for the screen it shows on, keep scripts to a minimum and test the main pages on an ordinary phone connection before launch.
Found in local search
Every page gets a clear title and description, your business details are marked up for search engines, and the service menu is real text that search engines can read. We also check that your hours and address match your Google Business Profile, since a mismatch confuses clients and search engines alike.
Questions
Do you write the copy?
If you want us to. Many owners send a rough menu and some notes, and we write the service descriptions and page text for your approval.
Can you use our existing photos?
Yes. We'll pick the strongest ones and tell you where a new shot would help, with a short shot list you or a local photographer can follow.
