Website redesign for beauty and wellness businesses

A rebuild for sites that are slow, hard to use on a phone, or out of date, without losing the domain and pages people already find.

Signs a redesign is due

  • Clients call to ask things the website should answer, such as hours or what a service includes
  • The service menu is a PDF or an image, or the prices and staff on it are out of date
  • On a phone, the Book button is hidden in a menu or takes several taps to reach
  • Pages are slow because of large photos or old plugins
  • The site was built by someone you can't reach anymore, and nobody knows how to edit it

What we keep

A redesign shouldn't cost you the traffic you already have. Before we change anything, we list the pages on your current site and which ones people actually visit. Your domain stays the same. Pages that move get redirects, so old links and search results still land in the right place. Good content stays too: a well-written first-visit page or a strong photo set gets carried over and cleaned up.

What usually changes

The structure, the menu and the path to booking. Most older salon sites grew one page at a time, so we regroup the content around how clients look for it: services first, then the team, then everything else. We rewrite the service menu as real text, add the booking links, and bring the design in line with your space and your brand colors.

How a redesign runs

  1. We review the current site and list what to keep, merge and drop.
  2. You approve a page plan and a layout sketch for desktop and phone.
  3. We design the home page and one inner page for your feedback.
  4. We build the full site on a private preview address and test it.
  5. We switch the domain over, set up redirects and check the old links.

Platforms

We can rebuild on the platform you're on, or move you to a simpler one if the current setup is the problem. Either way, you own the domain, the content and the accounts, and we hand over logins at the end.

Questions

Will the site go down during the redesign?

No. The current site stays live while we build the new one on a preview address. The switch takes a short window, which we schedule for a quiet time.

Can you redesign just a few pages?

Sometimes. If the rest of the site is in good shape, we can rebuild the home page, the menu and the booking path and leave the rest. The quote will say which makes more sense.
